Parents!

Yes, I know its Spring Time and for some, the weather doesn’t say the same. Well don’t let this be downer for you and your child.  Here is a cool way for you to keep the “Spring” in your home, no matter how it looks outside.

1. Ask your child what they like most about “Spring Time” and have them express it through painting.

2. Gather a few paint brushes, a canvas(card-stock or construction paper) and some colorful kid friendly paints and encourage your child to create their own masterpiece.

3. Make it fun and try finger-painting!

4. Post the “Spring Masterpiece” up in your home for your family to enjoy everyday

Enjoy Spring Break with your Child!

Hey Parents!

It’s time for Spring Break! During this time, try out this fun idea with your child:

Visit your local flower shop or home improvement store and gather a few “Spring Flowers” to plant outside for fun.

Let your child pick out their favorite flower and enjoy the process with them of “planting” new and fresh flowers for Spring! Even if they make a mistake or two, allow them to enjoy the moment of learning how to “sew” new seeds into fertile ground.

Here are a couple of “Spring Flowers” to check out:

  • daffodils
  • tulips
